How do YOU achieve SUCCESS…Positive Mental Attitude. II

Welcome back to OBSESSUCCESS.

For YOUR consideration, Tony Robbins.

He is 64 years old and has arguably become America’s most renowned self-help author and motivational speaker.

His writings and seminars have impacted millions across the planet.

Listen closely to what he says about the power in positive thinking,

“It’s not about positive thinking, because I don’t believe in that,” he said. “I don’t believe you should go to your garden and chant, ‘There’s no weeds, there’s no weeds, there’s no weeds,’ and think that that’s going to solve something. I’m a believer in find the weed and rip it out.”

Did you hear what he said?

He doesn’t believe that “it’s about positive thinking.”

So, if the most renowned and in many people’s opinion, the greatest motivator of our generation, makes this type of statement, why has positive thinking and positive mental attitude become the foundation of almost all self-help philosophies?

Obsessuccess: The Philosophy of Achievement provides examples of people from all generations, all races, all social economic situations, all backgrounds and all religions that have achieved success.

When you study these different life stories you will make a very interesting discovery, none of them were concerned with having a positive mental attitude or utilized positive thinking to achieve their desire.

These were men and women that made their decision, and their decision became their obsession.

Being a person that thinks positively is a good thing.

In ancient scripture in the Apostle Paul of Tarsus’s letter to the Phillipians he tells us exactly that, “whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

However, every one of you reading, listening to or watching this has known or read about people who have achieved tremendous success in life and they never exhibited anything close to a positive mental attitude.

There is little argument that some of these success examples actually exhibited a negative mental attitude throughout their lives.

The Obsessuccess Philosophy is different than most achievement philosophies in many ways, but one key way is that the teaching of Positive Mental Attitude or positive thinking is not a pre-requisite to YOUR SUCCESS.

Over the next few Obsessuccess discussions, YOU will discover that this philosophy of PMA and positive thinking that has been presented to YOU over YOUR lifetime is something that could actually be detrimental to YOU achieving YOUR DECISION.

Until then,

BE OBSESSUCCESS!
