How do YOU achieve SUCCESS…Discipline II
Welcome back to Obsessuccess.
It is worth repeating, if YOU are going to achieve YOUR success decision, YOU must have discipline.
Discipline is the requisite.
No discipline. No success.
Listen to the words of the late philosopher Jim Rohn as they echo down through the ages,
“Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment.
We must all suffer from one of two pains: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret.
The difference is discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons.
All disciplines affect each other.
Mistakenly, the man says, “This is the only area where I let down.” Not true. Every letdown affects the rest. Not to think so is naive.
Discipline is the foundation upon which all success is built.
Lack of discipline inevitably leads to failure.”
Now picture YOURSELF on one side of a vast canyon.
On the other side of this canyon, YOU can see YOUR success decision.
Exactly what YOU want to achieve.
Itโs YOUR OBSESSUCCESS.
It is right there for the taking.
YOU can see it so clearly.
Unfortunately, there is a canyon between YOU and YOUR success.
How do YOU get over there from the side YOU are on?
The only way for YOU to get there is to build a bridge.
YOU have been given the tool to build that bridge and that tool is discipline.
Discipline is the bridge.
Disciplined action.
Disciplined sacrifice.
Disciplined persistence.
YOU MUST DISCIPLINE YOURSELF IF YOU WANT TO ACHIEVE YOUR OBSESSUCCESS.
Those who have ears to hear, let them hear.
YOUR disciplined action, disciplined sacrifice and disciplined persistence WILL be painful, but as Jim Rohn stated,
โWe must all suffer from one of two pains: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret.
The difference is discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons.โ
Regardless of what YOUR Obsessuccess is:
Financial security
Weight loss.
Better health.
Top executive.
Better relationships.
Freedom from addiction.
Anything YOU wantโฆ
It is there for YOU to have, but it will take discipline and discipline is painful.
Just like the pain YOU felt in YOUR past when
YOUR dad.
YOUR mom.
YOUR grandfather.
YOUR grandmother.
YOUR teacher.
YOUR coach.
Disciplined YOU.
Remember, โThe difference is discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons.โ
In the next session we will look at examples of those who suffered the pain of discipline and the pain of regret.
Until then,
Be disciplined and be OBSESSUCCESS!
